The preventive campaigns in FY 201 1-l2 were conducted in the form of observance of Special Days in various places
of the country, media programs, publication of awareness materials as well as diabetes/health magazines, educational classes.
discussion programs on prevention, management and control and dissemination seminars.
Special emphasis has been given on diet and nutritional needs.
A full length feature film titled " Dui Beayier Kirti“ made for
creating awareness about diabetes is going to be released soon throughout the country in cinema halls.
