National Healthcare Network (NHN)

In addition NHN has Centres at Mirpur, Wari, Nawab Garden, Lalkuthi, Naya Paltan, Shyamoli, Mymensingh, Ghorashal, Rupgonj and Basundhara. Their main function is to provide outdoor services to diabetic and non diabetic patients and to collect all types of samples for various pathological tests. Samples requiring specific tests for which there is no facilities available at the centres, are sent to the Central Laboratory of NHN. Other departments available at different Centers are Ophthalmology, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Cardiology and Internal medicine, Dermatology, Nephrology and Dentistry.
The Centres also provide X-Ray, ECG, Physiotherapy and Ultrasonographic facilities to the patients.
NHN also run ‘Diabetic Education Programme’ for the benefit of the patients by a team of experienced Doctors & Nutrition specialists and Health Educators in different centres.
