A comprehensive diabetes care is also provided through its affiliated associations. The local Association is formed with the initiative of the local community having affiliation from the DAB. DAB gives technical and other assistance for developing the associations. At present, DAB has 54 affiliated association in different districts of the country. It is expected that these types of affiliated associations will be opened in other districts also within next few years.
